FIELD NOTES
Denmark’s official design festival returns in June under the theme Make This Moment Matter, trading visibility for purpose.

FORMARKIVET. 3DAYSOFDESIGN 2026, COPENHAGEN.
Founded in 2013, 3daysofdesign began as a focused design event and has since evolved into Denmark’s official design festival. Today, it serves as a platform for local and international talent, bringing together brands, designers, galleries, showrooms, architects, press, and design enthusiasts across Copenhagen. Its strength lies in its citywide format: the festival is experienced through neighborhoods, historic spaces, galleries, studios, and cultural landmarks.
HOUSE OF FINN JUHL, THE DEVIATION IS IN THE DETAIL. 3DAYSOFDESIGN 2026.
For the 2026 edition, taking place from June 10 to 12, the theme Make This Moment Matter reinforces the festival’s position as more than a showcase of new products. It invites the design community to pause and reconsider what truly deserves attention. In a time shaped by speed, overconsumption, and trend-driven aesthetics, this year’s theme proposes a shift from more to meaningful, from products created for visibility to ideas shaped by purpose.
This perspective is part of what makes 3daysofdesign more relevant each year. It steps away from what everyone else is doing and invites a collective recalibration: moving beyond disposable trends and toward longevity, craftsmanship, emotional durability, and responsibility.

DUSTY DECO. 3DAYSOFDESIGN 2026, COPENHAGEN.
The 2026 program also expands the festival’s emphasis on connection. The Design Ambassador Programme places international voices across the eight districts to guide guests, press, and exhibitors, while the Long Table Dinners introduce a more social and communal layer to the festival experience. These initiatives reinforce one of 3daysofdesign’s strongest qualities: its ability to turn design into encounter, dialogue, and shared presence.

This is why 3daysofdesign deserves attention. Festivals like this bring depth to the world of design, reminding us that behind a universe often perceived as centered on aesthetics and visual appeal, there is also an emotional language, a refined attention to detail, and a deep appreciation for creative and human work. In an era shaped by hyperproductivity, artificial intelligence, and social media, 3daysofdesign points toward something more enduring: design as presence, intention, and meaning.
