Elevating moments of connection through design was the guiding principle behind the project by Mubina Kara Design. A sense of fluidity, paired with thoughtfully selected pieces, shapes an environment that feels intimate and naturally attuned to gathering.
At the heart of the home, this seating area sets the tone for how the family gathers. “The custom banquette is one of the defining pieces of the project,” says Mubina. Paired with the bespoke dining table, the layout accommodates both intimate family moments and larger celebrations with equal ease. The slatted wood detailing at its base introduces warmth and texture.
That same sensibility carries into the dining room. A balance between classic and contemporary elements mirrors the clients’ vibrant spirit, while color assumes a more expressive role within the composition. Sophisticated neutrals are punctuated by deliberate accents, introducing depth through contrast rather than excess.
The kitchen establishes a seamless connection with the surrounding areas. “Early in the process, we decided to remove a dividing wall — a move that dramatically transformed the space,” says Mubina. The intervention redefined the layout, allowing the kitchen to integrate naturally into the rhythm of the home.
Every element was tailored to the clients’ specific needs, ensuring an intuitive and effortless daily experience. The entire project reflects Mubina Kara Design’s attentive approach to the clients’ lifestyle, resulting in a home thoughtfully conceived around their routines and aspirations.
